Politics students from Bay House School got a chance to catch up with their local MP during a tour of the Houses of Parliament last week. Caroline Dinenage MP met the 6th form students to discuss politics, Parliament and parity.
The students questioned Caroline about the career path to politics, life as a female MP and what it takes to become an MP and a Minister.
After the visit, Caroline commented:
"It is a delight to see young people wandering the halls of Parliament and seeing the inner workings of British politics. The students showed a keen interest in politics, asking insightful questions into life as a Member of Parliament - I hope their visit to Westminster fed their inspiration and curiosity."
