Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage welcomed a group of self-advocates from the local area to Parliament today.
The 24 adults, who all have some form of learning disability, came as part of the Gosport and Fareham Connect Advocacy group. They were whisked off on a tour of Parliament before holding a discussion with Caroline about life in politics.
Speaking after the event, Caroline said:
"It was a huge privilege to welcome this very special group to Parliament. They're all fantastic individuals, and it was a joy to talk to them and hear their views on politics, Parliament and much more".
