In a barnstorming speech today David Cameron set out his plans to finish the work of the current Government: building a Britain to be proud of by cutting taxes, reducing the deficit, and improving public services.
Local MP, Caroline Dinenage, has welcomed the £45 000 given by the Government to regenerate the 17th Century earthwork defences in Gosport. The funding is part of the £36 million given from Cornwall to Cumbria for the Great British Coast.

Local MP Caroline Dinenage has welcomed news today that the Government is giving local councils further funds to tackle homelessness, totalling £46 million. The funding is aimed at getting rough sleepers into safe accommodation, investing in night shelters and hostel spaces.
