Local MP Caroline Dinenage announced the winner of her eighth annual Christmas Card competition this week.
Earlier this year, Caroline invited primary schools in Gosport, Lee on the Solent, Stubbington & Hill Head to submit designs for her 2024 Christmas Card competition. Emelia, Year 3, from King’s Academy Gomer was crowned overall winner with her stunning robin design.
After the announcement Caroline commented:
"Over the years my Christmas Card competition has run, I have received a huge number of fantastic designs.
“With the talent that this year’s entrants have shown I am sure that there are great things in store for these budding artists.
“Emelia’s robin design was so colourful and unique – it makes the perfect Christmas card.”
Emelia joins previous winners from across the Gosport Constituency including from Woodcot Primary School, Rowner Infant School, Crofton Hammond Infant School and Newtown Primary School.
