Local MP, Caroline Dinenage, is asking Gosport constituents to submit their questions to her regarding the ongoing outbreak of Covid-19.
Caroline has posted on her Facebook page asking residents to email her at caroline.dinenage.mp@parliament.uk with their concerns, both national and local. Since the outbreak across Britain in March, Caroline has received a large amount of correspondence from constituents across Gosport, Stubbington, Hill Head and Lee-on-the-Solent regarding Covid-19 and the socio-economic impact that they, and the country at large, are facing. The Q&A is designed to answer the most popular concerns, reassuring residents of action being taken and providing useful information.
Caroline commented:
“The sheer amount of correspondence that myself and my team have received is understandable given the devastating effect that Covid-19 is having. It is an incredibly stressful and worrying time for everyone and with new information every day, it is not always clear what action is being taken and what help is available.
“That is why I wanted to do this Q&A, to listen to residents’ concerns across the board and to address what action is being taken, and what is still needed. I encourage everyone to have their say and email my team.”
Any questions that are not address in the Q&A video will be answered by email. The Q&A will be posted on Wednesday next week and the deadline for question submission is Sunday 26th March. Caroline is asking all applicants to include their postcode to confirm they are a constituent.
