Historic Brexit Bill Passes Another Hurdle

Today, the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill 2019-20 passed its Second Reading in the House of Commons by 358 to 234 votes. The Bill will now face further scrutiny by Members of Parliament and Lords on the 7th, 8th and 9th of January.

Exciting New Domestic Agenda Announced

The Queen has come back to Parliament for the second time this year to announce the newly formed Conservative Governments domestic agenda with more than 30 bills announced.  

Government Stops Fracking Support

The Government has withdrawn its support for fracking in England and will not take forward proposed planning reforms that were consulted on in 2018.
